Rolls Royce Wraith. Seen one before in a showroom, but this is the first I‘ve seen in the wild. Much classier surrounded by traffic than on its own; other cars give its proportions some scale. Does a great job of combining “Get out of my way, peasant” with “Envy me, for I have obscene levels of both money and taste*”. 

That heavy stainless trim round the side windows really makes the whole design, I think. It breaks up the giant mass of the thing vertically and accentuates it horizontally, and its thickness makes the whole glasshouse seem delicate in proportion.

*In black, at least. In the footballers-wife leopardskin wrap I suspect they’re more often seen in, probably not so much.

The Wraith is nice but I’d spec one with regular forward opening doors, not the rearward opening ones.

That even louder fluttering sound you hear is cash pouring into coffers from evil money-making schemes. If you can afford one of these, you don’t care about depreciation.

It didn’t dawn(pun maybe intended) on me how big these are, until seeing one. You only realise that after standing next to one in real life or seeing it next to a good reference.

Yes, they’ve done a good job of de-emphasising the size. Unlike the Phantom, which is designed to scream “I’m bigger and more important than you” from 100 yards.

Exactly. If any vehicle other than a G-Wagen or Bentayga screams “dark money”, this is it. Especially in a money laundering center like any densely populated British city (maybe London?).

Going north on I-95 I saw a Bentley Continental (coupe version). And they weren’t doing some leisure crap driving. He or she must have been a oppo member because they were moving! And there was some light level of dirt residue on the back areas further proving the oppo member status. :P
